Photelle Paid Services and Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms
Version 1.3 Published and effective: September 27, 2026
These Terms supplement the Photelle Terms of Use and govern paid credits and Apple auto-renewable subscriptions offered by AI CORTEX NEXUS LIMITED. Review the product, period, price, credits, renewal, and cancellation details before confirming payment. Final billing is also subject to Apple's applicable media-services terms.
Photelle is displayed as “出片” in the Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese localizations. Both names refer to the same app and service operated by the Company.
1. Products
The final product name, availability, and local price are displayed by Apple:
- Weekly auto-renewable subscription: each successful purchase or weekly renewal grants the number of retouching credits displayed on the purchase page at that time, renewing until cancelled.
- Annual auto-renewable subscription: each successful purchase or annual renewal grants the number of retouching credits displayed on the purchase page at that time, renewing until cancelled.
Apple may localize prices for region, tax, and currency. If an in-app display differs from Apple's purchase confirmation, Apple's confirmation controls.
One-time passes, monthly subscriptions, and the previous annual subscription offered in earlier app versions are no longer displayed to users of the new version. Completed historical purchases and active legacy subscriptions remain governed by the period, credits, and validity shown at purchase. Apple renewal, expiry, refund, and revocation notices for those transactions continue to be processed.
2. Credit rules
Each submitted processing round costs one credit, including a round that combines retouching, removal, and sizing. Continued retouching is another round. A confirmed service failure without a valid delivered result returns the credit. Subscription credits apply only to the current paid period and do not roll over. After a successful renewal and server verification, credits corresponding to the product and displayed on the purchase page are granted for the new period. Photelle configures and displays benefit quantities; price, currency, billing period, and transaction state come from Apple StoreKit and Apple's purchase confirmation. When several balances exist, Photelle uses the balance expiring soonest first. Credits cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash.
3. Automatic renewal
Weekly and annual products automatically renew through the Apple account used for purchase. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, Apple may charge for the next period within 24 hours before expiry or another period permitted by Apple. Successful renewal extends the subscription and issues the new period's credits. Apple controls billing, payment methods, retry, grace periods, and cancellation.
4. Manage and cancel
Use Manage Subscription in Photelle, or open iPhone Settings — Apple Account — Subscriptions — Photelle. Turning off auto-renewal only prevents the next renewal and is not a refund or revocation. Valid benefits remain available through the paid period; no new charge or credits are issued after it ends.
Deleting your Photelle account, deleting the app, signing out, or no longer using the service does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it through Apple before deleting the account if you do not want renewal.
5. Restore purchases
Use the Apple account used for the purchase, tap Restore Purchases, and confirm. We verify the Apple transaction and our service records. The same Photelle account can synchronize an active subscription or a valid legacy pass with its remaining benefits; restoration does not reissue spent credits or charge again.
If the original device account has no linked email, Apple identity, or legacy phone identity, a verified active subscription and its remaining current-period credits may be moved to the new device account. The original account no longer retains that subscription entitlement. Its expiry does not change, credits are not refilled, and original photos, history, permanent credits, and other plans do not move.
To prevent duplicate claims and ownership disputes, a subscription lineage supports only one automatic cross-account recovery. Sign in to the original account if it has a linked identity. Further device changes, stale proof, conflicting ownership, deleted accounts, or unverifiable claims require support verification. Unsettled tasks must finish first, and another active subscription on the destination account is not overwritten. Linking email or Apple remains optional for editing and purchasing. Subsequent renewals, refunds, revocations, and expiry follow the verified entitlement owner. Contact support before purchasing again if benefits are missing; never send passwords, verification codes, or unredacted payment credentials. A purchase does not grant access to another account's private photos.
6. Price and benefit changes
We may adjust future price, credits, or benefits. Updated credit quantities apply only to purchases or successful renewal periods after the change takes effect and do not retroactively reduce core benefits already paid for in the current period. Apple provides notices and requests consent for subscription price changes when its rules require it.
7. Refunds and revoked transactions
Apple processes iOS payments and refund requests. Request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem service or Apple Support. If Apple reports a refund, revocation, chargeback, or lost eligibility, we verify the product, transaction, and subscription period and remove the current entitlement or unused credits corresponding to that transaction, or correct credits issued in error. A refund or revocation affects only the reported transaction and period; a delayed notice for a completed historical period does not remove a later valid renewal period or replacement plan. Turning off auto-renewal alone does not remove benefits from the current paid period. Mandatory consumer refund rights remain unaffected.
8. Subscription group and switching
Weekly and annual subscriptions are in one Apple subscription group. Apple determines when an upgrade, downgrade, or switch takes effect and displays any price adjustment. Photelle updates expiry and credits based on Apple's verified transaction state. Do not repeatedly purchase while a transaction is pending.
9. Task failure and credit return
Subjective dissatisfaction with an AI result does not automatically qualify for a payment refund. A task conclusively failed by the platform or model without a valid result receives an automatic credit return. A task completed by the server while the device is offline remains completed and is available in history. Report an incorrect deduction with the relevant task information for investigation.
10. Account security and minors
Confirm the Apple account, Photelle account, product, period, and price before buying. Protect device authentication and payment credentials. A minor must obtain guardian consent. Fraudulent refunding, scripts, vulnerabilities, or multiple accounts used to obtain benefits may result in frozen entitlements and legal action.
11. Changes or termination
Legal, Apple-platform, provider, or technical changes may require adjustment or termination of a product. We will continue, replace, refund, or otherwise handle paid but unfulfilled benefits as required by law and the applicable agreement. Suspension of a Photelle account does not itself stop Apple's renewal; the user must manage the Apple subscription.
12. Disclaimers
Processing-time estimates and example results are not guarantees. We will help investigate delays caused by Apple accounts, payment methods, region restrictions, networks, maintenance, or independent providers, while each provider remains responsible within its own scope. These Terms do not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
13. Updates and governing terms
We may update these Terms for product, Apple-rule, or legal changes. A material change is prominently notified and renewed consent is obtained where required. Current paid-period core benefits are not retroactively reduced. Governing law and dispute rules follow the Photelle Terms of Use; Apple billing and refunds also follow Apple's applicable terms.
